High-precision cold drawn steel pipe production technology
High precision cold drawn tube, The cold-rolled steel pipe unit is a complete equipment combination for producing pipes using cold processing methods of cold rolling, cold drawing or a combination of cold rolling and cold drawing. It is a unit for deep processing of hot-rolled pipes or welded pipes.
Different processing methods and corresponding auxiliary processes are selected based on the processing performance of the metal, pipe size, quality requirements, investment and benefits. The basic processes of cold-rolled and cold-drawn pipes are: (1) Pipe material supply, the pipe materials used are hot-rolled finished pipes or semi-finished pipes, extruded pipes and welded pipes; (2) Pipe material preparation, including inspection, bundling, pickling, cleaning, rinsing, neutralization, and drying , coating with lubricant, etc.; (3) cold working (cold rolling or cold drawing); (4) finished product finishing including finished product heat treatment, straightening, sampling, cutting heads and tails, inspection (manual inspection and various flaw detection), hydraulic test, oiling, packaging, warehousing, etc. Different products have different finishing contents.
The production characteristics of cold-worked pipe units are that pipe materials usually undergo multiple cold deformations and work hardening from input to processing into finished products. Therefore, the entire production process consists of multiple preparation processes and deformation processes, and has the characteristics of reciprocating cycles. Therefore, there are many processes, a long production cycle, large metal consumption, low production efficiency, and generally a small production scale.
Configuring cold drawing and cold rolling mills at the same time in the unit will help bring into play their respective advantages, especially for the production of stainless steel and other high-alloy steel pipes and non-ferrous metal pipes that are difficult to deform. It is more reasonable and necessary. Cold drawing machines include single and multiple straight bar drawing machines and reel drawing machines (see reel drawing machines). The length of a single pipe is up to 50m when cold drawn, and up to several hundred meters when rolled. The minimum tonnage of the cold drawing machine is 30kN and the maximum is 7000kN. Conventional cold-rolled pipe mills include two-roller cold-rolled pipe mills and multi-roller cold-rolled pipe mills.
