Understand the causes and solutions to the problem of piston rod oil leakage
In the process of using the hydraulic cylinder, sometimes it is clearly determined that the piston rod is assembled and there are no traces on the surface. However, after using it for a period of time, it was found that the piston rod was oily. Generally, the piston rod with oil is a common phenomenon during use, because there will inevitably be some collisions during use, which will lead to oil leakage. The presence of oil will affect work, so how should we solve this problem?
Analysis of causes of piston rod oil leakage:
1. Piston rod deformation;
2. The inner lip of the sealing ring is not connected to the surface of the piston rod;
3. The surface coating is damaged during use, resulting in uneven surface;
4. There are scratches on the surface, or it is accidentally bumped or bruised during use;
5. The guide seal groove on the cylinder head or piston rod does not meet the requirements, so the pressure cannot be increased. However, if the compression does not increase, it will slowly reduce the compression and cause oil to come out of the piston rod.
In addition, if you want to solve the problem of piston rod oil leakage, you need to check according to the above reasons. If you find that the seal always has oil leakage problems during use, it is usually caused by the inner lip of the seal ring and the surface of the piston rod not matching together. If you want to solve this problem, you need to let the pressure oil enter the inner lip smoothly, and then use the pressure oil to press the inner lip. For example, you can connect the pressure oil to the gap in the inner lip by opening a channel in the guide sleeve.
